Introduction

Front Panel

The DSS-24 is designed for management at a glance. The LEDs on the front panel

of the DSS-24 allow you to monitor performance at a glance. It is not necessary to

connect to the DSS-24 in order to check performance or verify that a port is

working.

There are 24 ports located on the front. Each of the ports can be used for network

connection. The MDI-II Uplink port and port 1 are connected. You cannot use

both ports simultaneously.

The MDI-II port is used to connect to switches and hubs that do not have uplink

ports.
